“I Really Want To Focus On New Things” Baldur’s Gate 3 Director On Winding Down Development
Larian Studios' head Swen Vincke is dreaming big for the team’s next project and is doing something completely different.
In a post on Twitter/X, CD Projekt Red’s lead community manager,Carolin Wendt, called upon all Witcher 3 modding wannabes to set them a challenge." Community, don’t disappoint me, pls. I want to see the weirdest, boldest, and most fan fiction-y mods from you all" announced Wendt. For those who haven’t tried their hand at modding yet, Wendt stated that documentation, guides and helpful tips and tricks are already live - with even more to come.

Obviously, the modding community will be itching to showcase their latest creation as they get to work to make it as crazy as possible. In the comments, a user stated that they were waiting for the Dandelion romance mod to make an appearance, with Wendt saying that they are “quite sure it’s one of the fastest ones to pop up.”
Now, instead of relying on Nexus, the REDkit toolbox will make creating amazing mods much simpler and also more accessible due to areas of The Witcher 3 being able to be directly altered. It’s a fantastic system from CD Projekt to implement something that has been done before but now making it a part of the game’s integration and with the studio’s very own tools. We can’t wait to see what fans will produce. Fingers crossed it’s the most bizarre mods ever created!
