Behold, controller remapping! Not only is there an in-game menu for exactly what each button on your controller does, you’re able to customize it to your heart’s content.

While more common on ports like these, full controller remapping isn’t standard across modern game releases, even on PC, much to my infrequent ire. One can hope that this’ll bring us closer to full controller remapping on console games, but not every day can be Christmas.

It’s absolutely just nostalgia-fuel, a simple slight-of-hand to make everything just that little bit more cozy, and you know, being cozy is kind of alright. Party like it’s 1998.
