Harry Styles shocked all the Directioners when he showed up as Eros/Starfox in the credits ofEternals(2021). From music to film, the pop culture icon was shining bright everywhere. Playing the brother of Thanos, fans had a ton of expectations about what the character could be involved in next. Unfortunately, it seems like we have all been left in the dust as neither Eros nor Harry Styles turned to look back at the Marvel Cinematic Universe since then.

Previously, a report stated that Harry Styles was all set to return to the MCU in not one, but a total of five projects. Needless to say, nothing of the sort has happened. Is the short mid-credits scene all that we are ever going to get?
Harry Styles reportedly had a $100 million deal with Marvel
Back in 2022, about a year afterHarry Stylesshowed up inEternals,The Sunreleased a report stating that the music icon had deals in place that would attach him to the MCU for at least five films.
Needless to say, fans were over the moon. After all, who wouldn’t be? He’s Harry Styles! According to the LA sources, Styles was supposedly being considered for“as many as five projects.”According to the report, this deal would mean that theDon’t Worry Darlingcould make about $100 million in paychecks and profit bonuses.

An LA film consultant added,
For Harry and his handlers, it was all about whether the project and the feel of the movie being right. Following several secret calls and discussions the deal has been struck. And the surprise is that their deals pave the way for Harry to do as many as five projects for Marvel, which could see him as Starfox for 15 years. Feige and his team are delighted with the development.

Well, clearly, nothing of the sort happened. It’s weird to think that after apparently being in“Marvel’s sights for the last 18 months,”nothing has transpired from Styles’ short cameo. Are we just going to pretend it was nothing but a collective fever dream?
Moreover, Starfox did make his comeback into the Marvel-verse with a virtual reality story for the Apple Vision Pro headset inWhat If…? – An Immersive Story. However, he was not voiced by Styles

Kevin Feige once talked about Harry Styles’ return
Being the President of Marvel Studios and all,Kevin Feige‘s words often provide solace to fans who are looking for updates about their favorite characters and projects.
Thus, when he once again ignited hope in Styles’ fans back in 2023, we were all pretty stoked to see how Starfox would make his entry into the MCU once again.

During the premiere ofThe Marvelsin Las Vegas, Feige spoke toEntertainment Tonightabout Styles’ possible return to the superhero world stating that everyone on board was quite excited.
He’s excited, we’re excited. We will see. You introduce a lot of new characters in a lot of movies and a lot of tags. Where do the tag folk reappear? That’s a good question.
Right now, there is nothing we know about Styles and the MCU and whether or not he will be playing Starfox again. However, all signs point to no at the moment. Maybe one day though! After all, this is Marvel we are talking about. Anything can happen!
