At a gathering at the Oxford Writers’ House in Oxford, George R.R. Martin teased an exciting expansion of theGame of Thronesuniverse, with seven new shows in development. Fans WantGame of ThronesFinale to be Redone, Over New Shows

However, after George R.R. Martin’s announcement about the upcoming shows hit social media, it left fans both intrigued and exasperated. Scratching their heads and debating over whether the American author is crafting a television empire for mere entertainment or simply dodging the elephant in the room – the infamousSeason 8 finale ofGame of Thrones, fans offered a firestorm of mixed reactions.

On one hand, while the prospect of exploring new corners of the Seven Kingdoms seems undeniably exciting, on the other hand, fans believe it’s utterly important to redo theGame of Thronesfinale. Considering how audiences were left disappointed over Arya Stark’s anticlimactic win over the White Walkers, and Bran Stark becoming the first elected ruler of the Six Kingdoms, fans urged George R.R. Martin for a redo.

Game Of Thrones

We can get 7 more shows BUT WE CANT RE DO SEASON 8!!!

they should delete 7-8 season of got and remake them

Arya and Bran Stark in Game of Thrones

Remaking the last season or making a Jon Snow spinoff show to fix the last season should be one of their priorities.

Maybe he should work on finishing the books in the original series?

“Oh I f**king love her”: Margaret Qualley’s Dad Made an Aubrey Plaza Confession That Stunned Her

I’d trade all of these shows for a proper ending to Game of Thrones. It needed 3 more fleshed out, 10 episode, seasons.

It’s been 4,771 days since A Dance With Dragons…just admit you’re never gonna finish, George.#GameOfThrones#HouseOfTheDragonhttps://t.co/RFKbeIgpI5

While the new shows are set to dive into various corners of Westeros and beyond, promising fresh narratives and possibly a few familiar faces, fans can’t get over the upsetting ending of the original show that introduced people to George R.R. Martin’s universe. So it seems that while Martin’s idea of expanding the universe is tantalizing, fans’ outcry for redoing theGame of Thronesfinale is hard to ignore.

Game of ThronesandHouse of the Dragonare both available on Max.
