Season 4 is set to launch later this week for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a plethora of new maps, weapons, cosmetics, and more being introduced with the update. Most notable will be the release of a brand-new Warzone map, Vondel. This new map is packed with dense urban streets, canals, large structures, and a large degree of verticality for players to take advantage of. Activision states that Vondel will be between Al Mazrah and Ashika Island, in terms of geographical size.

Modern Warfare 2 And Warzone Season 4 Release Time

Season 4 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone will be released onWednesday, June 14th at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST.A new update will be deployed at the aforementioned time for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players will be required to download and install the new update before jumping into the new season.

Modern Warfare 2 And Warzone Season 4 Roadmap And Content

To commemorate the announcement of a brand-new season, Activision has released the full roadmap for Season 4, detailing what’s to come for both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone over the course of the latest season.

As mentioned previously, the biggest addition of season 4 will be Vondel, a brand-new map for both Warzone and DMZ. But it’s not just a new map that players should be excited about, as there’s also a plethora of new updates to DMZ and Warzone, including a new tactical amphibious vehicle, a new public event, a new dynamic fog system, and much more.

For fans of Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer, players can expect to see the return of a classic Modern Warfare map, Showdown. As well as two new gunfight maps, a new battle map, and two new 6v6 maps. Along with a new event and cosmetic bundles, players will also find two new weapons and modes also included with season 4.
