The Building 21 Defense and Research Center is the most challenging exclusion zone forWarzone 2DMZ, and throws players into a confined space filled with hostile Shadow Company soldiers. While many of you may choose to leave deployments into Building 21 on the back burner, mission grinders know all too well that some Faction Missions require you to go there. Such is the case withData Wipe,a mission tasking you with taking a previously acquired mission item into the Server Room.

Data Wipe is the Tier 5 Story Mission for the Crown faction, making it the last available Crown mission for you to complete in DMZ Season 3. To fulfill all the objectives for this mission, you will need tobring the Experiment Hard Drive into Building 21,decrypt the hard drive at a computer in Building 21, and thenupload the decrypted hard drive at the Zaya Observatory radio tower. Doing so will reward you with the Dead End weapon blueprint, along with a hefty amount of XP.
Bringing The Experiment Hard Drive Into Building 21
To complete the first objective of Data Wipe, you mustinfill into Building 21 with the Experiment Hard Drive. You may already have the required hard drive in your mission item stash prior to beginning this mission, as you had to acquire it when completing the Tier 4 Mission: Boating and Entering. It can befound in the Legendary Supply Cache(which you will need to unlock by flipping 9 switches around the Waterways)outside theAshika Island Bunker.
Once you have extracted the hard drive from Ashika Island,head into Building 21(which will require a DRC Building 21 Access Card)with the hard driveto complete the first portion of the mission.
Decrypting The Hard Drive In Building 21
To fulfill the second objective of Data Wipe, you will be tasked withdecrypting the hard drive at a computer in Building 21. The area you will need tohead to is the Server Room, which is located on the basement levelof Building 21 - the same room required to get theBuilding 21 Weapon Case. Once you are in the server room,head to the southeast cornerof the room. Here you willfind a computer terminalright next to some lockers.
Interact with the terminalto begin the decryption process. Once the process is done, the second part of the mission will be completed - but be sure to grab the drive before progressing to extraction.
You will need toextract the decrypted hard drive(or stow it in a Secure Backpack) in order to carry out the task for the third portion of this mission.

Uploading The Decrypted Hard Drive At The Zaya Observatory Radio Tower In Al Mazrah
The third and final portion of this mission will task you withuploading the now-decrypted hard drive at the Zaya Observatory Radio Tower. Those of you who have completedNowhere To Hideshould be familiar with this particular radio tower, which is located on thenorth side of Zaya Observatory. Infill into Al Mazrah with the decrypted hard drive and head over to Zaya Observatory. Once done so, head up the radio tower.
At the very top of the tower, you will encounter a computer terminal. Simplyinteract with the terminalto begin the upload process, and once completed you will have wrapped up the final part of Data Wipe.
