The title has now sold a staggering six million copies in less than two months and has won over tons of adoring fans online.

Although the game is currently only in early access, developers Iron Gate have released a few bug fixes and a roadmap of what’s to come - including the next major update,Hearth and Home.
Today, March 19, the developers shared an update on Steam, including new info on theHearth and Homeupdate and a sneak peek screenshot. Here is what we know about the release date so far.
What is Valheim?
Valheimis a Viking-RPG that has taken the world by storm. Realeased for PC at the start of February, players create their viking, build their home, explore a range of biomes and fight a bunch of different enemies and bosses.
What is the Valheim Hearth and Home update?
Hearth and Homeis set to be focused on the building and crafting aspect ofValheim. It’s set to include new building tools and different items for players to create their perfect homestead.
When is the Hearth and Home Release date?
So far, we’ve received no official release date onHearth and Home, however, in today’sSteam development update, Iron Gate confirmed that they are moving forwards with work on the new content. The message they shared with players is below.
“A lot of you have reached out and asked about the road map. Howâs âHearth and Homeâ coming along? Much of our focus has been on play testing and bug fixing, but as things are calming down since launch, we can spend more time working on our first big update!”
They also added an image of the team in a video conference, discussing details on theHearth and Homeupdate and shared a brand new, unseen screenshot. Based on this info, however, it still seemsHearth and Homeis a way off.
