However, fans received word from Jordan Ruimy ofWorld of Reelthis week that Raimi might join Marvel and Sony for a differentSpider-Man 4. Ruimy reported that Raimi is considered for helming theTom Holland-led film. TheEvil Deaddirector is popular among CBM fans as the one who gave them the definitive movie trilogy in the superhero genre.

These fans will now be disappointed to learn that Raimi’s involvement is a very narrow possibility. Countering the scoop from World of Reel, Jeff Sneider reported onThe Hot Micwith John Rocha that his sources shared that Raimi is not in the running forSpider-Man 4director. Sneider shared,“My sources say that they would bet against it being Raimi. They don’t think it’ll be Raimi.”
