Now,Attack on Titandirector Masashi Koizuka seems to be in charge of the project and also responsible for changing people’s minds. Many fans questioned as to why a remake was even needed when neither the manga nor the original anime were finished.
However, the goal was never to redo and improve on what was made, it was to acknowledge that what has been made holds a special place in the fans’ hearts. There was a lot that made the people spiral, whether it was about ruining what was perfect or cutting out important sequences. However, director Koizuka has a clear idea.
Attack on Titan Director Won’t Compromise for One Piece
It was recently announced that Masashi Koizuka, the director forAttack on Titanseasons 2 and 3 would be in charge ofThe One Piecewith WIT Studio’s animation. Toei Animation has been working on the original anime for decades now and the news of another studio taking hold of the situation was cautionary to begin with. However, in a statement shared by@pewpieceon X, the director’s words are anything but worrisome.
I’m facing this as a long series. If the people like what we’ve created, we know we would be creating this in the long-run. And if it does, it means this work is loved by many. I want to continue this for a long period. I want to continue this forever.
Many fans had found themselves worrying about how a new approach toOne Piececould also jeopardize what made the original so good. While the episode count is intimidatingly large with a massive amount of fillers, most of them contribute to the overall growth of the characters.

Director Koizuka admitted that the remake would not be looking towards compromising the original length for the sake of it. The series is a long one and the fact would remain untouched. Moreover, the goal wouldn’t be to cut short the plot and focus primarily on the primary story. It would remain a story by the fans for the fans.
One Piece’s Biggest Competition Could Become Itself
For decades nowOne Piecehas been on top of its game. In the shonen genre, it has been a dominating figure withEiichiro Oda’sname sitting among the top most renowned and respected mangakas. Even as a live-action series came out, it quickly took over the world, showing that competition for the franchise wasn’t something that Oda needed to worry about.
Toei, pack it up.

The first look of the remake has just been released and fans can’t help but fawn over the animation style and story that WIT Studio has planned for them. Masashi Koizuka’s words only act as the cherry on top. Already having such a successful anime under his name gives him the utmost credibility.
