Shueishaannouncedon October 18 a newTo Love Ru15th anniversary event: an exhibition of new artwork at Tokyo Solamachi.

Ecchi romantic comedy mangaTo Love Ruis reaching its 15th anniversary and will start the celebrations with a new exhibition.To Love Ruwas started in 2006 in Shonen Jump Magazine, following Rito Yuki, whose life turns upside down when extraterrestrial princess Lala Satalin Deviluke falls in love with him. The series continued withTo Love Ru Darkness, published in Jump Square, and ended in 2017.

To Love Ruis written by Saki Hasemi and Kentaro Yabuki wth Yabuki handling the art. The story initially starts with a Rumiko Takahashi-like,Urusei Yatsuracopycat-looking premise, but manages to mutate into its own thing. Delivering cool and touching moments as long as you’re not allergic to extreme ecchi.

Artist Kentaro Yabuki also recycled several characters from his past works intoTo Love Ru. The manga and anime most notably features an alternate version of Eve fromBlack Cat, named Konjiki no Yami, Golden Darkness. The assassin is a major character especially in theDarknesssequel, named after her.

To Love Rumanga 15th Anniversary Exhibition key visual, new projects, season 5 predictions

TheTo Love Ru15th Anniversary Exhibition will be held from November 6 to 15, 2021, with tickets sold for 1800 Yen (tax included). Seeing the popularity ofTo Love Ru, it wouldn’t be surprising if a new project got announced down the line to celebrate the 15th anniversary.

Nowadays, Kentaro Yabuki is already busy working onAyakashi Triangle. So this might be difficult. With 6 volumes so far, Yabuki’s new series is available onManga Plus. Saki Hasemi is also busy writing a new manga,GT-giRl.

Another possibility would be a To Love Ru season 5, adapting the last volumes ofDarkness. Fully adapting the manga would be a fitting present for the 15th anniversary.
