Warner Bros. Pictures has dropped the new trailer forThe Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrimand it looks like an epic animated adaptation. The events of the film are set 183 years before the original film trilogy and it explores the story of the King of Rohan, Helm Hammerhand, and his daughter Héra. Fans are excited about the film after the trailer managed to impress them.

From the war visuals that remind fans of the original trilogy to the fierce female protagonist, there were a lot of things to love about the new series. Peter Jackson is involved in the series as an executive producer, while one actor from the original trilogy is confirmed to return—Miranda Otto as Éowyn.
