The Conjuring 4has finally found a director after much anticipation, and the film will officially be the last mainstay in the franchise. The popular horror franchise, which was created by James Wan, has mostly focused on the cases of Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga). However, even amidst the excitement, a rather unsettling announcement has left fans in a state of perplexity. Director Michael Chaves, who directed the third installment of the franchise (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), is set to helm the finale.

Yeah, Michael Chaves ruined the 3rd one. So I don’t expect 4 will be good. Should’ve never left, James Wan.
