Bandai Namco’sDragon Ball: Sparking! Zerois one of the most highly anticipated titles coming out this year. There is no release date confirmed by the developers yet, but a series of updates, leaks, and rumors have continued to keep the fans on their toes.
A gameplay showcase for the game was streamed a couple of days ago, giving fans even more details about what to expect from the game. Apart from all that, it was one small detail found on the game’s official website that got the fans a lot more excited, specifically about the character of Broly, a fan-favorite character from an oldDBZmovie.
Legendary Super Saiyan Broly Among Characters Listed for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero
The Wrathful form of Broly is one of the returning characters expected to be included in Bandai Namco’s upcoming action-fighting game,Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zerobut when one fan caught two other additions to the character on the official website for the game, it sparked an exciting and interesting conversation.
Broly’s Super Saiyan and Full Power Super Saiyan characters are also added to the roster among the new characters listed on the game’s official website.
They changed Broly’s name to “Broly (Super)“byu/Zied_Taintenkaichi4
One of the comments to the post mentioned that the Super Saiyan character wasn’t yet added to the game’s Japanese website.

Broly had appeared in a trilogy of movies in the 90s and also in a series of games, including 2018’sDragon Ball: Legends. Broly’s strongest form, God Broly, was seen inDragon Ball Z: Super Tenkaichi Budokai, a 2017 movie.
God Broly was considered far too powerful than the combined strengths of Goku and Vegeta in Super Saiyan Blue form. Broly’s Super Saiyan and Full Power Super Saiyan are iconic for their appearance with green hair and aura.
Broly will make for an interesting and exciting character in his Super Saiyan form in the upcomingDragon Balltitle which is expected to be released by the end of this year.
Fans Debate Whether or Not Broly Z will be Included at Launch or in a DLC
One of the fans commented that villain Broly from theDBZmovies would make for a brilliant addition to the game and could very well be included in the base game. Another comment mentioned that popular characters are usually reserved for future post-launch content. Others hoped they wouldn’t have to wait too long for a DLC to drop to experience Broly in his most powerful form.
Frieza is the other Super character mentioned in the roster, although the Super form is the only version of Frieza mentioned. Goku, Vegeta, and 17 are the other characters to have their Super forms added to the roster.
In total, the roster consists of 51 characters so far with the message at the bottom stating there will be several more added to the roster soon. These could well be the post-launch DLC characters with the ones on the list made available at launch. The game is coming to Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
