Avengers: DoomsdayandAvengers: Secret Warsare probably aiming to recreate the magic ofAvengers: Infinity WarandAvengers: Endgame. Marvel’s earlier strategy which hinged on great storytelling needs to be replicated after a slew of films that haven’t really resonated with the audience that well. While Marvel has a lot of ground to cover between now andAvengers: Doomsday, it seems like the studio will be relying on one crowd-pleasing tactic to make its films as palatable as possible.

Avengers: Secret WarsandDoomsdaywill probably try to culminate the Multiverse Saga in the best way it can, which could possibly include a slew of cameos from a bunch of Marvel properties, that are not necessarily in the MCU. Given that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been able to connect numerous IPs that were made under the Marvel banner beforeIron Man(2008), there is an expectation that these characters will pop up in the MCU in a more meaty role come the twoAvengersfilms.
Industry Insiders are sure thatAvengersfilms are going to be full of cameos
Avengersfilms have always been a spectacle, culminating in numerous cameos and fun-filled relationship-building. A major draw of the film is to see characters that fans are familiar with coming together and working towards a common goal.

Secret WarsandDoomsdayhave the opportunity to take this formula and blow it wide open, bringing in beloved versions of characters from Marvel films outside of the MCU.Insider Alex Pereztalked about how there will be a balance between good writing and cameos to hype up the fans, saying:
The way they want to approach it is sort of like how they did it with Spider-Man: No Way Home and Deadpool and Wolverine. The characters that showed up in those films wouldn’t qualify as cameos. They served an actual purpose and role in the films they were in. These legacy appearances are going to be a big chunk of the next couple of Avengers films. And there are going to be A LOT.

According to Perez, there seems to be a plan to emulate the successful tactics ofDeadpool & Wolverine, along withSpider-Man: No Way Home. Both these projects thrived on secret cast members who were able to create a brilliant story, while also delivering tons of fan service that easily pushed both films over the billion-dollar mark. However, it remains to be seen how the box office treats the upcoming Marvel films, given that their success is imperative for how fans receive the Avengers films.
There are a slew of cameos fans wish to see inAvengers: DoomsdayandSecret Wars
Avengers: DoomsdayandAvengers: Secret Warswill be able to bring in a slew of characters from the multiverse to create a team of heroes that will be able to go up against Doctor Doom. Characters like The Fantastic Four and Wolverine are no-brainers for appearances in the films.

However, there are another bunch of characters that fans would like to see operate side by side with the Avengers of the MCU, such asMichael Fassbender’sMagneto, Ioan Gruffud’s Mister Fantastic, Dafne Keen’s X-23, Eric Bana’s Hulk, along with a bunch of other heroes that audiences are nostalgic about before the MCU existed.
The films will also probably reach into the MCU itself, and bring back characters that fans have not seen for a while such as Thor, Quicksilver, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, and even Natasha Romanoff. Given that time travel exists, and could factor heavily into the making of the multiverse, it is possible that characters dead and gone could come back, also serving as cameo capital for the films as they close out the Multiverse Saga.
