Kevin Feige has introduced some badass villains in the MCU. Whether it be solo or ensemble films, the franchise has cast some fantastic actors like Robert Redford, Cate Blanchett, Josh Brolin, and Christian Bale to portray compelling villains. The MCU mostly strives for villains who are complex and intriguing rather than cookie-cutter mustache-twirling ones.
Feige is set to take it up a notch with Phase 6 and introduce two heavy hitters in the form of Galactus and Doctor Doom, played by Ralph Ineson and Robert Downey Jr. The Avengers and the Fantastic Four are gonna need all the help to defeat these supervillains. Interestingly, the Marvel head hasn’t introduced an unexpectedly powerful hero who managed to outsmart both these intimidating foes.
Squirrel Girl Would Have Been A Perfect New Hero For The MCU Leading Up To The Two Avengers Films
With the multiverse saga now reaching its middle point, Kevin Feige is now planning Phase 6 to be an epic lead-up to the concluding two Avengers films. Starting with the 2025Fantastic Fourfilm, things are gonna get intense as Ralph Ineson’sGalactusand Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom wreak havoc in the multiverse, and the Avengers are expected to team up with the Fantastic Four to defeat the latter.

The current roster of who the Avengers are is currently unknown but the films will indeed have a big ensemble cast. However, one Avenger from the comics that had significant arcs with both supervillains is yet to be introduced. Doreen Allene Green akaSquirrel Girlhas faced both Galactus andDoctor Doomand managed to outsmart them in creative ways.
One might not expect a girl with the ability to communicate with squirrels to defeat extremely powerful aforementioned villains. But she proved that her intellect and unique tactics were integral to her victory. InMarvel Super-Heroes Vol. 2 #8, Squirrel Girl summons her squirrel friends to free her and attack Doom. They chew on his costume and his cloak gets destroyed (viaCBR). Eventually, Doom flees and this unexpected feat impresses Iron Man who was with her in captivity.
In the case of Galactus who is a devourer of planets, Doreen smartly befriends him inThe Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #4. She tells Galactus about a planet rich with nuts, which has weirdly become his favorite meal. By convincing him that the said planet will suit him better than Earth, her planet got to see another day. (viaCBR).

Doreen smartly stopped the powerful entity with her creative friendship angle. These victories are indeed unexpected that Feige could have included her in phase 5 to include her in the two Avengers films. Even if they don’t end up directly adapting her adventures with the supervillains, she could have been a great addition to the roster.

He also expressed gratitude for all the love thatDeadpool & Wolverineis getting and stated that all the conversations he and the makers had about the film were worth it. Feige wrote,
Thanks for making Marvel Studios’ first R-rate movie the biggest of all time. It’s fantastic to see that audiences are loving this movie as much as we all loved making it. All those conversations were worth it!
