The official Steam page forThe Mediumindicates that you need to have an Nvidia RTX 2080 to be able to run the game on 4K resolution with the highest preset.
As revealed during yesterday’s Xbox Games Showcase,The Mediumwill be using the Dual-Reality-Rendering feature on Xbox Series Xwhich allows the developers to render two different worlds simultaneously in a single screen, while controlling the protagonist in both worlds. As you might already guess, delivering the same experience with the same quality on PC would surely require several strong pieces to work together, and that’s exactly what the official system requirements of the game confirm.
According tothe system requirements of the game, you will need to have an NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB or an AMD Radeon R9 390 to be able to run the game at minimum specs. Along with that, you should equip your PC with 8 GB of RAM and an Intel Core i5-6600 or an AMD Ryzen 5 2500X processor to keep it going on the lowest preset.
On the other hand, running The Medium on the best way possible will require you an NVIDIA RTX 2070 graphics card along with an Intel Core i5-9600 processor and 16 GB of RAM. The equivalent hardware pieces from AMD could also run the game with the same quality.

Despite asking too much power from your PC, the game only requires 30 GB of free space on your system, which is a fairly small amount even for current-gen titles.
Along withHalo Infinite, which is a first-party launch title for Xbox Series X, the console will also receive some other exclusive games from third-party developers, including Bloober Team’sThe Medium. Designed and developed with Series X as the main target platform in mind,The Mediumwill be using the maximum power of the console’s SSD and its other new features to deliver a brand new type of gameplaythat couldn’t be run on current-gen consoles.
The Mediumwill be available on Xbox Series X and PC in Holiday 2020.
