Pittsburgh Comic Books
Force Carrier:The first comic book collectible is automatically added to your inventory after Ellie and Joel leave Bill’s Town with the car. A cutscene plays where Ellie shows Joel a comic book and comments about how she enjoys it.
Termination Shock:As Joel and Ellie exit the Hunter’s building, Joel looks at the Pittsburgh bridge. Drop down and make your way to the bridge and take a right. You will spot a bus with plants overgrowing all over it. Head inside the bus and go to the rear of the bus to pick up the comic book. Be cautious of abloaterin this area that might catch you off guard when exploring the hotel.
Accretion:The Accretion comic book can be found in the hotel lobby area after Ellie rescues Joel from being drowned at the hands of a hunter. After the cutscene, take the stairs to head up to the balcony area. The balcony floor has given way, so you have to shimmy across to the other side. Once you’re on the other side, look for the comic book on one of the coffee tables.
Deep Phase: After meeting up with Sam and Henry, leave their apartment and head downstairs. You will come across a shiv to open a door to apartment number 201. Go inside and to the kid’s bedroom on the right. The comic book can be picked up from the computer desk.

The Suburbs Comic Books
Antiparticles:During the beginning of the “Sewers” chapter, Joel and the group will spot a wrecked boat. Climb the boat and go inside the control room to pick up the comic book from the control panel.
Messenger Particle: In the “Suburbs” section of the chapter, Joel and Ellie will come across a white house with red graffiti on its exterior. Head inside and use the stairs to enter a room that looks more like an office. you may pick up the comic book from the computer desk.

Tommy’s Dam Comic Books
Foreign Element:The Foreign Element comic book is the first collectible in the chapter and is found under the hydrodam bridge. It is where Joel and Ellie are. As you near the bridge, you will see water running down a slope to your right. Go up the slope to find a wrecked car and a decomposing body. The comic book is near the body.
Zero Point:After Ellie runs away from the hydrodam and Joel and Tommy go looking for her, you will enter a ranch house searching for her. Head upstairs and enter the room to the left of the staircase. The comic book is on a desk by the window.
The University Comic Book
Free Radicals: As the University chapter begins, turn around and make your way to the end of the road. You’ll find a wrecked car and a truck. Pick up the comic book from the car’s passenger seat.

Lakeside Resort Comic Books
Uncertainty:While playing as Ellie, you will be required to hunt a deer. After you shoot the deer and start tracking it down, you will enter a barn. Take an immediate left to enter a room with a table. Open the drawer to find the Uncertainty comic book.
Negentropy:Still playing as Ellie, you will need to make your way through a drainpipe. After you exit the drainpipe, go left and up the stairs to find an area with two benches. The comic book is on the bench with a jacket.
Bus Depot Comic Books
Precipitate:After the cutscene where you pet the Giraffe, you go down the stairs of a Fedra military building. The stairs will lead you to a reception area. Go right to find a men’s restroom with a blue door. The comic book can be found on the floor.
Catalysis:After you help Ellie with the ladder to help her get on the truck, climb the vents to your right of the truck and make your way to the very end to find the Catalysis comic book. The comic book can be a little difficult to spot, so you can either turn on your flashlight or the high contrast mode from theaccessibilitysettings to make it easier to spot the collectible.
Jackson Comic Book
Singularity:The final comic book is found during the epilogue of the game. After Ellie and Joel cross a fence, keep going to your right until you find a wrecked truck. The comic book is on the driver’s seat.
