Marvel Rivals Fantastic Four First Look
According to NetEase, The Fantastic Four’s trailer will be released on January 6 at 8 am PST/11 am EST. While nothing has been announced officially, leaks have pegged the foursome to be part of the Season One lineup, which kicks off sometime this month.
Don’t expect all four heroes to be released simultaneously, as NetEase will probably release each one at various intervals to acclimate the gaming community with each one before making the next member available.
The four group members seem very straightforward regarding which class they’ll end up in, except for Mr. Fantastic. The Human Torch will undoubtedly be a Duelist (damage) hero given his abilities, while The Thing will surely be a Vanguard (tank) given his strength and durability. Sue Storm, a.k.a. The Invisible Woman, will likely be a Strategist (support) character. Mr Fantastic is the odd one, as the hero can fit all three roles given his elastic powers. If I had to make a guess, he’ll be another Duelist with all sorts of stretch-related mobility and damage.
The most interesting thing here is what Team-Ups NetEase has cooked up, and whether it’ll be exclusive to the group or give added advantages to other characters.

Aside from The Fantastic Four, NetEase just releasednew skins for Squirrel Girl and Moon Knightthat should be available for players to purchase starting today. There are alsocrossover events announcedwith other Marvel games that should kick off tomorrow, January 3.
Expect another event to hit Marvel Rivals before the month ends, as the Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year) takes place on July 05, 2025. With NetEase a Chinese company, we expect a host of holiday-themed skins and more to be part of the festivities.
