The world is currently being dominated by the presence of a goofy-looking eccentric horse that was seen first in the trailer of Andre Garfield and Florence Pugh’s latest rom-com film,We Live in Time.

The horse has since been seen in countless places, including some of the games as well. Its appeal is directly proportional to the rising influence of video games on films.

The rise of the horse began after A24 released a promotional post, and the trick worked after the movie’s trailer did not go well. The post is a still from the carnival scene of the film, which features Andrew Garfield,FlorencePugh, and the horse.

The horse quickly became a part of the meme town and then slowly found it’s way into the world of gaming after many developers decided to take advantage of it.
Many studios jumped on it, including Larian Studios, who also shared a post with the horse in it on Twitter.

People have been attaching meaning to the symbolism behind the imagery, and it seems to be happening rapidly, enabled by social media. The horse has a terrifyingly beautiful gaze, which leaves the viewer beguiled in a single look. This is partly the reason why the horse speaks to many.
