What many fans, however, haven’t noticed is the sheer influence Fujimoto has had on recent successful manga and anime.Look Back, the anime film that has captured the anime community’s hearts was written by Fujimoto. Moreover, the author ofDandadanwas Fujimoto’s assistant.
Perhaps without shadowing and getting mentored by Tatsuki Fujimoto,Dandadanwould’ve never been made. After all, not many do cross the narrative boundaries like him and Yukinobu Tatsu. Moreover, the mangaka has talents beyondChainsaw Man,evident by how touchingLook Backis. It’s a one-of-a-kind movie that is easy to follow but completely relatable.

Chainsaw Man:Is The Hate Train Too Harsh?
ManyChainsaw Manfans truly appreciate the anime adaptation while still preferring the manga above it all. Some fans, however, are rather vocal about their dislike for the anime and have mainly nitpicks over it rather than any real complaints that warrant it to be named as a bad adaptation. Whether it’s the pacing or the tone, fans do not seem entirely happy with it but will there be a point when they are? Moreover, while the sexually explicit content might be upsetting to some people, it doesn’t make the overall anime bad.
Chainsaw Manmight be flawed and not for everyone but something that cannot be disputed is the brilliant animation. Studio MAPPA might have some of the worst labor laws but it delivers every time with amazing animation that does justice to the manga. It seems to be quite the reach to insult the animation just becauseChainsaw Manmight not pander to individual tastes.

Tatsuki Fujimoto Used a Heartbreakingly Personal Experience to Make Look Back More Relatable
Tatsuki Fujimoto, on the other hand, has been accused of usingsexually explicit content as a continuous shock factor. The scenes are rather disgusting and awkward to watch, but there is nuance and a point to them. His writing isn’t to blame here, knowing how diverse it can be withLook Back. So, yes, the hate train has gone pretty far.
Fujimoto’s Influence onDandadanand Other Anime
The rise ofDandadanhas got everyone curious about its mangaka, Yukinobu Tatsu. One of the main titbits about them is when they were Fujimoto’s assistant and how this may have influenced the making ofDandadan. What isn’t talked about enough, though, is that Tatsuya Endo, the mangaka ofSpy x Family, was an assistant for the manga,Fire Punchby Tatsuki Fujimoto.
Dandadan’s Success May be the Latest Example of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man Effect
Other assistants include Oto Touda, Yuji Kaku, and Tohru Kuramori. The most notable of them isHell’s Paradiseby Yuji Kaku but the thread of successful manga means Kuramori and Touda are worth looking out for. Fujimoto’s mentoring has bloomed some amazing new anime that grew successful pretty much overnight. It’s undeniable how big of a force Fujimoto is in the industry andChainsaw Mandeserves more respect.
