Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguehas been downright disappointing for fans of Rocksteady’s previous works and DC fans in general, too. Even before the game came out, fans were not happy with the game being live-service, and after its release, the game seems to be on a steepdecline.

Season 1 of the title was also announced with aSeason Passthat seemed to be a silver lining in the dark cloud that was the game’s release. But, as the game moves forward in its life cycle, it seems to be getting more things wrong than it is getting right. One of those things is the spoiler that was floated on social media.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 4 Spoiler Disappoints Fans Further

Miller Ross is a content creator on X who has been posting about the game since it came out. Ross has reported leaks and shared his thoughts, criticism, and praise for the Rocksteady title. Now, a curious fan asked why the game proposes there will be 5 Seasons and 13 Brainiacs.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s Entire Story is Going to be Made Irrelevant by 1 Post-Launch Season DLC

That is when Miller Ross chimed in with a spoiler. As per Ross’s reply, now flagged as “sensitive content” due to the spoiler, Deadshot was working with Amanda Waller behind the scenes from the get-go. As a result, the master assassin kills two Brainiacs from two different universes when you meet him in Season 4. When Miller made this revelation, it wasn’t well received by fans, who were already seemingly frustrated with the majority of the game’s elements, including its narrative:

That’s so fucking lame😅

The above reply is on the Ross’s original spoiler post.

The title has received a lot of flak for how boring and unnerving the deaths of Justice League members felt to the audience and how so many important characters, like Tim Drake (Robin’s alter ego), are killed off-screen:

Because Rocksteady actually hates Tim, I mean just think about it, dude drops in in AC to give a tool then we never see him again, then they kill him off screen in SSKTJL.

Fans of the Arkhamverse who have been connected to all of the titles released since the franchise’s inception are visibly livid. This is because of how tangential the narrative of the studio’s latest title feels, and sadly, things do not seem to be looking up.

Why Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Feels Incoherent and Lackluster

Out of the two events in the game, one was a spoiler, which hasn’t been confirmed but comes from a reliable source. Regardless, Rocksteady’s live-service title makes one feel that all the events in previous Arkhamverse titles weren’t canon in the first place.

Arkhamverse’s Batman, who is known for not seeking help even from his proteges like Tim Drake and Dick Grayson, is shown to become a part of the Justice League without any fuss. What is worse is that the only way to know his character arc is by listening to Audio Logs in the game, which is an awful way to build on one of the best superhero video game trilogies.

The Joker’s death inArkham Cityalso seems like it doesn’t matter because of the Elseworld storyline. Moreover, while the Joker in Rocksteady’s latest doesn’t feel even remotely close to the original one, nothing about him seems convincing enough.
