The King of Iron Fist Tournament returns in Tekken 8, with a new Heat system ramping up the intensity in the latest entry of the legendary fighting series. The eighth main entry will also reward players who choose a proactive approach over a defensive one. Pick up the standard edition for $69.99 via the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam to pocket some bonuses.
Tekken 8 is confirmed to have 32 playable characters, including a brand-new addition to the roster in new fighter Reina,announced during the Evo Tekken 8 Showcasein November last year. Reina is a Japanese martial artist practicing Taido and has access to the Wind God Fist. Releasing on June 19, 2025, Tekken 8 also promises certain technical changes, including more cinematic fighting environments focusing on stage destruction, as well as a completely fresh set of character models and voice lines. Furthermore, the online mode will feature a battle lobby called Arcade Quest, which will include arcade environments, online battles, and tournament matches.

Joining the Standard Edition of Tekken 8 is an abundance of special editions that include plenty of digital content to give you an advantage in the game, as well as several physical collector’s products that will make any fan’s eyes light up. The special editions of Tekken 8 include the Launch Edition, Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, Collector’s Edition, and Premium Collector’s Edition. Launch Edition
This neat package comes with a striking steelbook featuring Jin on the cover for the same price as the Standard Edition at $69.99, however, this addition is only available when you order from the Bandai Namco Store and Amazon directly.
Deluxe Edition
Fighters are red-carpet ready
The Tekken 8 Deluxe Edition comes with the base game, a Playable Character Year 1 Pass, a Kinjin Avatar Skin, the Gold Suit Pack, and pre-order bonuses.
The Deluxe Edition contains digital-only perks, including a one-year Playable Character pass, plus an Avatar Skin of Kinjin, and the Gold Suit Pack that fits your characters with a snazzy, gold suit. However, the Gold Suit Pack only allows one costume per each playable character (32 total).
Ultimate Edition
For $109.99, the Ultimate Edition contains all the digital perks from the Deluxe Edition, with three additional Avatar Skins for Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, and Jun Kazama, an Avatar Costume featuring the Classic Tekken Tee, and the physical products from the Launch Edition minus the steelbook.
Collector’s Edition
The Collector’s Edition is a European exclusive that includes everything from the Ultimate Edition plus a special Face-Off steelbook, three additional physical products, and the main attraction - a 25 cm/9.8-inch figure of Jin.
Premium Collector’s Edition
The only difference between the Collector’s Edition and the Premium Collector’s Edition is that the Jin Figure in the Premium version is electrified, which adds some spark to the character’s wing, and you can purchase yours for $299.99.
Tekken 8 Pre-Order Bonus
When you pre-order any version of Tekken 8, whether it be the Standard Edition or the Premium Collector’s Edition, you will receive a pre-order bonus gift for reserving your copy before the release date. By pre-ordering,you’ll receive a complimentary Paul Phoenix Avatar Costume, featuring the character’s red and black outfit with the iconic, blonde hair. Additionally,buyers who secure their pre-order through the PlayStation Store will receive an exclusive bonus in the form of Mokujin and Tetsujin Avatar Skins.
