Sunset Fireflies will only spawn in moretemperate forests, so cold mountains and tropical jungles are out of the question as well.
There are a few locations that are particularly good for finding Sunset Fireflies.Satori Mountain,to the southwest of Hyrule Castle, has a bunch of small ponds that spawn fireflies.Batrea Lakeby theRiverside Stablehas a few good locations for Sunset Fireflies. How To Catch Sunset Fireflies
Once you’ve found a bunch of Sunset Fireflies, all that’s left to do iscatch them. If you just run at them, the fireflies will scatter quickly and, more often than not, leave you empty-handed. Instead, the trick is tosneak up on them.By doing this, you’ll keep them from running away and be able to get more fireflies per location you visit. This strategy also works on tons of other valuable critters. Fairies, Deep Fireflies, Restless Crickets, and many more bugs are best caught by sneaking up behind them instead of running.
Keep in mind thatnot every point of light is aSunset Firefly,so don’t be disappointed when you only get one or two out of what seems like dozens of them.
