A few days ago, Nintendo, and more specifically the legend that is Masahiro Sakurai, revealed the final DLC character forSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate.
While not to everybody’s liking, that character was revealed to be none other than Sora from theKingdom Heartsfranchise - a franchise that has a lot of hardcore fans.
Alongside Sora’s announcement, Sakurai revealed that the iconic character had previously topped the Smash Ballot, a vote for which character fans wanted in the 3DS and Wii U entries into theSmash Bros.series.
Now, we’re just a very short time away from receiving them, so here’s the release date and time you can expect to play as Sora inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Sora’s release date inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatediffers based on where you are based.
In the US, Sora will be releasing on Monday, October 18, however, for the rest of the world, Sora will be released on Tuesday, October 19.

Although there’s no “official release time”, due to the fact that Sora releases on the 18th in the US and 19th in the rest of the world, it’s safe to draw the conclusion he will join the game between these times.
All of the other characters have come out around 6 pm PT/ 9 pm ET/2 am BST so this is the most likely time for Sora’s release.
What Else Will Be Dropping at That Time?
Alongside Sora will be three new Mii Fighter costumes, including two from Splatoon and then the DOOM Marine.
It will also spell the release ofSuper Smash Bros. UltimateVersion 13.0.0
This will likely include nerfs and buffs to a range of different characters!
