Superstrings will aid you in battles with their unique abilities. However, because of the cooldowns, you can’t entirely rely on them to execute tactical moves like smoking, blinding, and detecting enemies.
That’s where tactical items come into play, which can be used to do the same without using abilities.

You have various options with up to 8 tactical items inStrinova. Let’s review all the game’s tactical items and see how useful they are.
8Windstorm
A Gust Of Wind
Description
Creates a small gust of wind floating everyone in the effective zone
It would have been great if Windstorm only affected enemy players; however, deploying the Windstorm grenadecan affect your characterand make you fly.

Flying is great for taking a position in hard-to-reach positions. However, you’ll often find yourself vulnerable to enemies since youwon’t be able to aim or glide fast enoughin intense battles.
A scenario where the grenade is remarkable is when you see a blind rush to a bomb site; you’re able to immediately pop off the grenade in front of enemies and pick them off.

Though the grenade isn’t my favorite, having one in your team for niche situations isn’t the worst idea.

7Interceptor
Deploys a transparent shield on the impact that intercepts enemies' tactical items; only becomes visible while intercepting
It’s an underrated utility that many people don’t know about. Usually, when a team rushes to a spot, the opposing team uses their ability to delay their push by using grenades.

If they don’t back out or reposition themselves, they’ll likely lose their armor or be affected by slow or flash effects. To counter that, the Interceptor grenade can come in clutch.
The grenadeintercepting the incoming utility and nullifying their effectsprovides insane value to the team.

I don’t recommend having multiple interceptor grenades, buthaving at least one with a Duelistis bestto block incoming utility.
Tactical items have cooldowns, and you may reuse them during the same round.
6Slowing Grenade
Releases a large pool of paint that slows and string-blocks enemies in its area after a delayed explosion
One of the best things about the Slowing grenade is that it doesn’t affect your character, making it easier for you to go for Melee kills.
I usually use Flash and Slow Grenade combos with controllers to pick off enemies with my Katana. Another benefit of throwing the grenade is thatit blocks enemies' ability to enter the Stringify mode, making their hitboxes smaller.
I highly recommend picking up a Slowing grenade with a Controller character to slow incoming push to a bomb site or Payload.
5Healing Grenade
Just A Little Is Enough
Releases a healing mist on impact, temporarily restoring health to allies and your character in its area
Gunfights inStrinovaare intense and often time-critical. Youneed to knock the enemy down and immediately finishthem off fast, otherwise someone may come to their aid and turn the tide.
Sometimes, you only need a slight boost to slay an enemy in a 1v1 scenario. That’s where the Healing grenade comes into play.
I usuallyprefer Healing grenades with Support characterslikeCelestia, Kokona, and Fragranssincetheir abilities focuson restoring armor and health to allies.
The grenade heals your character over time in a small area, but it’s good enough for you to get back into the battle again, especially in the Demolition mode, where every active player matters.

4Tattletale
Senses enemies in the area after being attached to a surface
The Tattletale is another underrated utility that many players overlook.Strinovahas maps with a lot of verticality; enemies can glide behind and over you to flank you out of the blue.
That’s why people often ignore their flanks and get picked off by the enemy, usually playing as Fuchsia or Flavia.
Tattletale can detect enemies in a spherical area and alert you of a potential flank. It reminded me ofValorant’sCypher’s trip wire, which could detect enemies.
Ultimately, with Tattletale, the rule of thumb is to place them at your blind spots when holding critical angles.
3Flash Grenade
Ah! I Can’t See Anything!
Causes temporary blindness and deafness to anyone in the explosion’s line of sight after exploding
I love Strinova’s flash grenades. They havea unique effect and blind enemiesin a significant area. I recommend using them immediatelyin the Payload modeto throw a sniper’s aim off, since they can one-shot your teammates.
Snipers are used heavily in this game, and it’s crucial to avoid them, since even their body shots can damage your armor.
If you want to use the flash grenade near you, throw it off immediately and look away, and you won’t have to suffer the whole flash.
Then you can do a quick 180 and take out the dazed opponent in front of you before they even realise which way is up.
Most grenades' trajectory is visible and can be bounced off walls; use that to your advantage.
2Frag Grenade
Explodes on impact after a short delay to deal with area-of-effect damage
With all these newfangled ideas on this list, it’s nice to see that classic tactical ranks so high.
you’re able to’t kill enemies in one shot in the Demolition ranked mode. Once you damage their entire health, they’re knocked down and can be revivedby their teammates.
To secure the kill, you can throw a Frag grenade, whichdeals area-of-effect damagein a small zone. The grenade is helpfulagainst enemies pushing toward a bomb site.
If someone’s defusing a bomb, you can throw it to hurt them and win a round for your team.
1Smoke Grenade
Sneaky-Peeky
Releases a smoke screen after a short delay on impact
Speaking of timeless classics, it’s hard to beat a good old fashioned Smoke Grenade.
It is a fantastic utility that is indispensable in team play.Smoke grenades are helpfulin many situations.Covering angles, defusing the bomb, combining reconnaissance abilities, you name it, smoke grenades have been used.
In my opinion, every team member should have a smoke grenade, which can be used to confuse the enemy or support the team.
One prime example is the Smoke grenade, which usesLawine’s recon abilityto see enemies while masking yourself in the smoke. Take them out before they can assess your location.
