Square Enixand Team NINJA have released a new trailer forStranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin’s latest DLC, Wanderer of the Rift, showcasing a new difficulty mode, job, item, and gameplay features coming to the game when it launches on October 26th.
Wanderer of the Rift marks the second DLC for the critically-acclaimed RPG after Trials of the Dragon King, bringing new playable content focused on the villainous Gilgamesh. According to the trailer, the upcoming DLC adds a new mission dubbed ‘Gilgamesh, Wanderer of the Rift’ in which players will fight against Gilgamesh for various rewards. There is also a brand-new story arc, dubbed The Rift Labyrinth, which will be included in the game. It will feature randomly generated dungeons where Gilgamesh will appear to cause havoc.

The trailer provides more information about Gilgamesh, showcasing his weaponry as he battles Jack and his companions. Gilgamesh can move between dimensions without having to stay in the singularity. He excels at close-range combat with a sword and spear, but he can also attack from a distance with missiles.
As players progress through the Rift Labyrinth, they can unlock a new job known as Blue Mage, which will allow players to learn and use enemy abilities as they desire by consuming blue magic. Besides that, a brand new item called ‘monster bells’ will also be introduced with the DLC, letting players call up monsters to fight for them during combat. However, players will need a summonstone to activate this item after completing a special event with the monster. It will require a certain level of affinity to use monster bells to change the combat in favor of players.
Wanderer of the Rift DLC brings a new difficulty mode in which players can activate ‘Dimension Bringer’ to slow enemy moves and deal more damage by creating rapid combos. Once players select ‘Gilgamesh Difficulty’ mode, enemies will level up and become more challenging as the game progresses. However, the developer team brings relic equipment, a new feature for players to improve their capabilities against ever-stronger foes. It allows players to gain special powers based on the relic’s value. Players will have to appraise relics at the Tonberry Blacksmith to obtain them in order to use vicious enemies.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin’s latest expansion,Wanderer of the Rift, will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 26th.
