5Train Station Trading
Always Trade For What You Don’t Have
You will be collecting a lot of different resources in the game, and each of them will be collected at a different rate. Head over to your Administration Window to see the rates you are collecting various resources. You will want to trade resources that you are receiving an excessive amount of for much scarcer resources.
This will ensure you always have enough of everything you may need. The Administrative Window will show you how much you have stored, your current balance, your production of each resource, and the demand for each of them. You can conduct all these trade deals over at the Train Station.
4Fertility
Don’t Build Over Resources
When you place certain structures, you will see an area of effect that may or may not highlight nearby objects. This determines the fertility level for your structures. If you place too many structures around a Sand Sifting Factory that has 100% fertility, it will lose fertility. When you have at least 7 trees highlighted near a Forester, then fertility will be at 100%.
If you have more than 7 trees, you can build over any of them, and it will still count as having 7 trees. However, if you should build over a tree and reduce this number further, your production will suffer. So be mindful of where you want to build, and always have at least 7 trees available around a Forester.

As you make your way through the game and develop your city, you’re going to want to invest some time in improving what roads you are using. Dirt Roads will be the cheapest option, but it limits the maximum speed to and from your warehouses.
