The leaked photos gave us a look into the new appearance of Bella Ramsey’s Ellie, and their look has left the fans concerned. The fans complain that Ramsey would be playing a 19-year-old Eliie in the upcoming season, but they are not looking any different from Season 1 in the leaked photos.

According toThe Last of Us Part II, Ellie’s character should be 19 in the upcoming season. Yet Ramsey is looking no older than their Season 1 look in the leaks. Interestingly, Bella Ramsey is presently 20. Unfortunately, it does not look like the makers have put any effort into their makeup or hairstyle to make them look older.

The fans also criticized when we got the first look intoPedro Pascaland Bella Ramsey’s Joel and Ellie before Season 1’s release. Nevertheless, the stellar performances and the other positive elements proved them wrong. Moreover, Ellie was 14 in the first season as per the game lore, so it fitted perfectly, but things don’t look very good this time.

The new set photos give us a drastically different look at Bella Ramsey’s character than their video game counterpart in the 2020 game. While it is not a written rule that the characters must look the same in the adaptations, still there’s no evident effort in making Ellie look more mature.

While most of the fans are concerned, some people have also come to the HBO show’s defense. According to them, the show might focus more on the character’s mature personality. Some have also suggested that the makers might also make some alterations to Ramsey’s look in post-production.
