Are you still playingStarfield? If you’re still seeing bugs or just waiting for more features to be added, that should happen sometime this year.

While Bethesda hasn’t divulged just what they’re working on, the studio did confirm there are “lots” of things planned for the sci-fi RPG.

The resurgence of shorter games is due to gamers being burnt out on lengthy games that require hundreds of hours.

Bethesda Isn’t Done With Starfield Support Just Yet

Over on Twitter/X, the officialStarfield accountanswered a fan who suggested that Bethesda needs to start communicating on the next update and DLC.

In response, Bethesda said, “We know you’re eager for an update, and we truly appreciate your passion for Starfield. The team has been hard at work, and while we’re not ready to share specific details just yet, we have a lot of exciting things planned for the game this year that we can’t wait to talk about when the time is right.”

“We’re always listening and taking your feedback to heart. Thanks for being part of this journey with us,” Bethesda added.

Nothing was shared in terms of specific details or if we’re getting another premium DLC like Shattered Space, however.

Ex Starfield Developer Thinks Bethesda Should Switch to Unreal Engine 5

A former Bethesda artist thinks it’s time to ditch Creation Engine in favor of Unreal 5.

Unless I’m mistaken, the last major title update we’ve gotten for Starfield was back inNovember 2024, and this was released to feature new Creations. Since then, there has been no announcement on what’s next or if there will even be any support planned.

Starfield has an expansive universe within it

Could one of the “exciting things” planned is therumored PS5 port of the game? I can imagine PlayStation fans would welcome this with open arms. Or perhaps Betheda will announce another expansion is in the works?

If we are getting new DLC, let’s hope it fares better than Shattered Space. Our review of Shattered Spaceexpansion didn’t hold back, as it mentioned, “While moments of brilliance remain, and Shattered Space does add some memorable moments to the pile, it’s a DLC that ensures that Starfield doesn’t go out with a bang like a Supernova, but rather fades into the vacuum of space without so much as a whimper.”
