If your lockpicking failures inStarfieldare leading to serious losses, there is a simple solution for you to get rid of every single in-game lock that prevents you from broadening your ever-growing pack of collectibles, as modders have found ways to bypass that pesky lockpicking mechanic.

Similar to previousBethesdagames, Starfield has a huge focus on looting mechanics as well, but it’s not always easy to get everything you want into your inventory. Sometimes even winning the toughest fights is not enough to gain access to certain loot, because it’s still stuck behind a lock, and not every great fighter is a great lockpicker.

Starfield modder “IxionXVII” has recently shared a new mod that automatically makes you succeed in every lockpicking mini-game. With this mod enabled, there is no lock that you may’t get rid of, and there is no loot to lose because you are not skilled with Digipicks.

Available via NexusMods, this bypassing mod just ignores the Digipick mini-game, but you will still need to have unlocked the perk for lockpicking. That being said, there is a way to bypass that perk as well. All you need to do is to add the command below in the in-game console, and you will receive the lockpicking perk instantly, which allows you to bypass all locks going forward.

In case you don’t mind playing Digipick mini-games but just need enough Digipick tools to get infinite attempts, there is another cheat mod byRockJBthat simply adds tons of Digipicks to your inventory. This mod is also capable of giving you XP and Credits.

As more time passes since the early access release of Starfield, more useful mods are appearing online. Prior to these two, a modder managed to bringDLSS 2 and XeSSupscaling technologies to Starfield on launch day, and it’s become one of the most popular and most downloaded mods on PC. Moreover, cheats are also getting popular, as currently, there are mods that can instantly add all armor pieces and weapons to your inventory.
