A lot of modern AAA games allow players to start a New Game Plus (or NG+) when they finish the main game. This allows for players to redo the game with added bonuses; however, Starfield does things a bit differently.While you can restart the game in another version of reality similar to your own, you can also travel to versions of reality that are completely different from your own.This allows players to have a lot more freedom when playing in NG+. How To Find Barrett Early
While NG+ prompts you to search for Artifacts in the universe before you can find Barrett (no matter if you restarted the game or are just collecting the Artifacts), you can find him early.In the regular playthrough of NG+, Barrett can be found in the Lodge after you have collected several Artifacts.He will be either in the main area of the Lodge or in his room. However, you can also find him way earlier than that and have him as a companion while you search for the many different Artifacts.In order to do this, you will need to travel back to the Argos Mining Facility. This is the place where the game starts and is on the planet of Vectera in the Narion Solar System. Once there, you can easily find him and speak to him about joining you.
Unfortunately, in alternate universes, the Hunter may kill members of Constellation. If you cannot find Barrett anywhere, even after collecting the Artifacts, chances are he was killed in this version of events.
