What Is Unity
After bringing the Artifacts together, the player is able to fly their ship through Unity, which isbasically a portal.Going through Unity will bring someonefrom their current dimension into another and make them Starborn.Going through Unity, your players will also meet another version of themselves, showing that there are others out there who also became Starborn.
Unity exists in every dimension,and the goal of the Starborn is to travel from one dimension to another and continue to find and travel through Unity. Unity is also a one-way trip, asthose who travel to another dimension can never return to their original one.
What Are The Starborn
TheStarborn are those who have traveled through Unityand are now in another dimension different from their first. By traveling through Unity, Starborn is made more powerful,mostly through the effects of their Starborn power.Both the Hunter and the Emissary are examples of this. After traveling to other dimensions, Starborn may slowly lose their humanity as theydon’t feel connected to the people of that dimensionand instead see them as tools to find Unity again and travel through it to yet another dimension.

Was The Hunter Or Emissary Right
Whilethis decisionimpacted how the final mission of the game went, italso affected what happened to your old dimension after you left.If you choose the Emissary, they stay behind to help others from the dimension and alsobecome Starborn based on who they deem worthy.If you chose the Hunter, they would have also left when you did, as their goal was to also just find and travel through Unity,leaving it to be found by those able to do so themselves.
You Are Starborn
Upon finding and traveling through Unity, your character hasleft their previous dimension behind, never to return to it.Having left it behind, they arereborn into a new dimension, now withStarborn armorand ship,able to use their knowledge from the previous dimension to influence the events of the game this time around. While in a New Game + playthrough, yourgoal now stays the same: to find and travel through Unityagain and again and again.
