Let’s make one thing clear:in the Zone, it’s drip or drown.
Having to wander a radioactive wasteland full of natural booby-traps,weird mutants, and unsavory bandits sucks too much to do while looking bad, but then again, dying sucks even more.

This list is here to help you survive the beginningofZone Fashion Weekuntil you find some more respectable outfits.
Oh, and avoid selling every old suit once you find a new one, will you?

Repairingarmoris the most expensive service in all ofSTALKER 2, so keep a fit or two in case you run into some bullets while chasing loot and glory.
5Leather Jacket
The leather jacket is your day zero suit, and it offers top-notch protection… from the rain.
You getmarginal radiation and burn protectionhere, but this is the kind of suit you can immediately ditch when you come across literally anything else.

10 Things The Fallout TV Adaption Did Perfectly
The Fallout TV show was one of the most entertaining and faithful gaming television adaptations, and here’s what it did perfectly.
Still, resist the temptation to sell it to Hamster, as little protection still beats having none.

Once you pick up another suit or two, you can trade it for coupons to help repair that new gun or buy some decent ammunition for your assault rifle.
4PSZ-7 Military Body Armor
Remember, stalker:“military grade” means “lowest bidder”, nothing else.
The Ukrainian Army has reduced its footprint in the Zone since the events in Call of Pripyat, but you get to enjoy the grim life of a conscript if you pick this garbage up.
The PSZ-7 offers someballisticprotection but that is all it has going for itself, making this suit functionally useless andonly marginally better than the leather jacket.

Still, if your current suit is completely worn out, the PSZ-7 helps a little.
3OZK Explorer’s Suit
The Explorer is an adaptation of the OZK, a CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) protection kit introduced in the Soviet Army sometime between 1957 and 1962.
This trusty kit consists of rubber overalls and a hood that goes over the gas mask. Stalkers were quick to adapt it to the Zone’s conditions.
The Explorer’s Suit hasthe best protection against electrical and chemical anomaliesamong early game models, but this comes at the cost of mediocre radiation protection.
2Mercenary Suit
TheMerc driphas one decided advantage over all competitors: it looks incredible, with a cool camo pattern and OMON-style camo.
The accessories take inspiration fromWestern special forcesgear, as many of themercsin the Zone come from abroad.
STALKER 2 File Size Revealed With Required Specs
That massive map of the Zone hurts the storage, but other specs look encouraging.
Apart from cool visuals, the Mercenary Suit hasrespectable radiation and ballistic protectionand only weighs 3kg.
Sure,it is hot garbage against anomalies, but then again if you are reading this you better get a hang of the Zone without jumping into a vat of anomalous acid.
The lightweight fit makes it easy to bring a lot of loot back home.
1PSZ-20W Convoy
There is no denying that wardens look and act like mall cops, but for all their issues, they make decent suits.
This suit covers your basic needs, with workable protection against radiation and impacts.
You are not going artifact hunting early in the game anyway, so protection against anomalies should not be high on your priority list.
For old players, the earliest this suit can be found is in the Old Factory in the Dark Valley, by the entrance of Laboratory X-18.
If you are new, this is underneath the building where the quest “The Road To Salvation” plays out, immediately after leaving Zalissya.
