Safes and doors are scattered across the map ofSTALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, and so are the codes to open them.
Now, if you’re like me and enjoy exploring, you should slowly but surely familiarize yourself with the open world and allow the game to let you find these safes organically.

How to reach
This is one of the first safes you will find which is quite hard to miss even as abeginner. Head to the location on the map and enter the tunnel as shown in the image above. You will find the locked door at the end of the tunnel.
Sphere Underground Access Tunnel
Head to the building as shown on the map. Enter the building, keep going straight and climb the staircase until you reach the locked door.
Electric Field
Head to the location as shown on the map. Enter the building as shown in the image and take a right, where you will end up near a broken wall. Take the staircase going down right beside the broken wall and keep following the path until you end up near the locked door. There are two locked doors in this area. Once you open this one, you will have to open another one.
Waste Processing Station
Head to the location on the map until you reach the fenced area as shown in the image. Take a right to enter the small bricked building, the locked door should be right there with a safe inside.
Monolith Stash
Head to the location on the map and enter the building as shown in the image. Keep on walking inside the hallway until you reach a grilled locked door with a keypad on it.
Hydrodynamics Lab
Simply head to the location on the map right beside the Hydrodynamics Lab. Find the building as shown in the image and you should be able to find the locked door right there.
Railway Maintenance Facility
Head to the location on the map and look for a double-storied brick building right next to the railway tracks. The locked door will be right in front of you.
Dalin’s Office
This one is a little tricky since it involves getting into the SIRCAA facility and then getting to Dr. Dalin’s office. It’s best to wait and start theA Long Overdue Visitmain mission. Once you start the mission, a cutscene with Dalin giving you the Green Key Card will get triggered.
Once you have the card, head to the floor above with all the artifacts. Keep walking straight until you reach a set of glass doors leading to the hallway. Take a right from here to get to the elevator. Use the Green Key Card to unlock the elevator and finally reach Dalin’s suite. Keep walking to find Dalin’s office at the end of the hallway. Since this is one of the secret safes, to access the safe you will have to go to the wall with the framed pictures and adjust one of them to open the secret safe.
Inrercom Tower
Compared to the last safe location, this is quite simple, as all you have to do is head to the location on the map and look for a brick building. Head inside and you will find a safe with a keypad right beside it.
STALKER 2: 14 Hardest Mutants To Kill
You need to tell apart what kind of mutant you are dealing with, and how to kill it quickly.
Rectangular building
Head to the location on the map and enter the building with a dead dog in front of it. Take a left and keep going straight to enter a room with ananomaly. Remember to arm yourself with bolts to deal with these pesky buggers. Once they’re dealt with, look to your right to get into a room with a broken wall. You should find the safe with a keypad the moment you enter the room.
Army Warehouse Locker
This is yet another easy one. Simply find the building with a truck parked beside it by referring to the map, head inside and take a right to find a grilled door with a keypad right beside it. Additionally, you’re able to also find aJournalist Stashin this building to get some of that sweet extra loot.
Chemical Plant
Head to the location on the map to end up right beside a tower inside the chemical plant. Jump on the wall right beside the tower onto the boxes to get into the plant. Take a left and keep going straight to find a window with water kept on it. Get inside through the open window and get to the lowermost level, where you should be able to find the locked door to your right.
Promin CMD Factory
The best approach to get to this safe is to wait till you start the Dawn of a New Day mission. Once that is done, simply follow the mission objective until you complete the “Get inside the underground lab” objective and go underground. From there keep going straight until you reach a dead end. Look to your right and you should find a room with a locker and a keypad.
Head to the location and a cargo container with a keypad should be right in front of you. Typing in the code will unlock the container from the other side with three enemies waiting to ambush you along with some loot.
