As one of the biggest games launching this holiday season,Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moraleswill give fans of Insomniac’s belovedSpider-Mantitle a long-awaited follow-up while also being one of the first titles to showcase the power of thePS5. Naturally, this has inspired some impressive fan creations, with one artist showing what aMiles Moraleslimited edition could look like. It’s safe to say that now that we’ve seen it, I definitely want it to be real.
Over onLetsGoDigital, artistGiuseppe Spinellishared images and a video for his concept of a limited edition PS5 based onMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. While the PS5 was already a striking console by itself, Spinelli’s concept takes things a step further with a slick black and red treatment for the console, while also adorning it with embossed webbing and Miles' Spider-Man logo. This of course isn’t the first time that Spinelli has created some impressive concepts and CG renders for amazing-looking consoles. Earlier in the year, he createda sleek-looking black version of the PS5, and has done several other iterations on both the PS5 console and its DualSense controller throughout the year. So far, Sony has only shown us the first iteration of the PS5 with its reveal back in June that sports a signature black and white look, which is a bit of a departure from past PlayStation consoles. However, if Spinelli’s work is any indication, hopefully it won’t be too long before Sony starts to get creative with limited editions of the PS5 as it has done with the PS4 for marquee titles likeGod of War,Death Stranding,The Last of Us PartII, and of course the originalMarvel’s Spider-Man.
