Scorpion is a major Spider-Man villain who makes an appearance inSpider-Man 2along with its predecessor. Spider-Man 2’s main story focuses on Kraven, as he has come to New York on a hunt for powerful enemies, which happen to be Spider-Man’s villains.

Scorpion is one of Kraven’s first targets and is brought into the game very early during his transfer out of The Raft. Despite still being enemies, Spider-Man must fight to protect Scorpion from Kraven and his hunters.

Scorpion From The Game Universe
Scorpion makes his appearance in the first game afterDoc Ockenlists his help to stop Spider-Manand take down Oscorp. Scorpion, along with the newly formed Sinister Six,broke out of The Raft and began attacking Oscorp and New York.While this is his first on-screen appearance in this universe,Scorpion has been operating for a while and has faced and lost to Spider-Man before.

At the end of the first game,Scorpion is captured and returned to the Raft,only to be broken out again by Kraven in the second game. After trying to escape Kraven and his hunters, Scorpion comes face to face with Kraven,who quickly defeats him, strangles him, and injects him with his own stinger and poison.Kraven dumps Scorpion’s body out in the city, where it islater found and his death confirmed.
Scorpion’s Powers & Abilities
Scorpion is a man namedMac Gargan, who was given a unique serum with the attributes of a scorpion that mutated his mind and body.A scorpion was decided as they arepredators of Spiders, and he was initially created to defeat Spider-Man.This serum gave himsuperhuman strength, agility, durability, and reflexes.Due to the side effects of the serum.Mac requires his Scorpion suit to stay alive and must always wear it,which is why he has it on even when imprisoned on The Raft.
Scorpion’s tail is cybernetically linked to his mind,allowing him to control it like another body part. Within the stinger is apowerful hallucinogenic that can even have its victim’s bodies precise the hallucinations as real.As time has gone on since the serum, Mac hasbecome progressively more unstable as the scorpion attributes take over his mind,leaving him insane and often acting as an aggressive predator when he seesSpider-Man.
