It would seem that it was the last part of it all that stuck out to Jackman. Commenting on the post, he questioned if Reynolds was telling the world that he was the one who convinced the actor to come back in the film. The reason for such a reaction was that the truth could not be further from it.

The true story of what made Hugh Jackman come back as Wolverine was a lot different than many would think. It would seem that the topic of Wolverine coming back was persistently brought up by Ryan Reynolds. During an interview withVariety, Jackman revealed that theDeadpoolactor was asked him about coming back“on the daily.”
“I think, actually, he’d given up,”Jackman said.“I think it was a big shock to him. There was a massive pause, and then he said, ‘I can’t believe the timing of this.’”
It would seem that theLoganactor wore down over time and eventually caved in. When he made the call to Reynolds, the actor could not have been happier, quickly setting up a meeting with Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, and Shawn Levy, the director ofDeadpoolandDeadpool 2.
