To many long-time Skyrim fans, collecting everything the game has to offer is all part of the experience. 5Giant’s Club
The Giant’s Club is one of thebeefiestweaponsin Skyrim, launching enemies into the stratosphere when contact is made! Because of this, it is a cult classic, and a fan favorite. In fact, Bethesda once reverted a patch that was added to prevent the hilarious ragdoll effect simply because players loved it so much!
It is a largely known fact that, to the dismay of many, this weapon is unobtainable. But there is a cheeky workaround! If players head to the Giant’s camp in Tumble Arch Pass, they will be ecstatic to find a usable version of the weapon! While players are unable to wield the club, it can beeffectively given to most followersfor them to use. For the Dragonborn that truly wishes to use this weapon, there are mods that allow such.
4Spriggan Shield
The Spriggan Shield is a powerful item that boasts a hefty +24 defense for its user. However, what makes this shield so interesting is the fact that it is actually invisible, as it was never intended to be an item players could see. Instead, it offers the Spriggan, whotypically don’t wield anything, a viable way for them to defend themselves!

A little-known fact is that there have been reports on Reddit and other internet threads of the shield appearing in the inventory of Spriggan after defeating them! It of course appears as an invisible item, but can actually be equipped and used as normal! So next time you defeat a wooden foe, be sure to check for theelusiveSpriggan Shield!
3Herbane’s Fortress & Herbane’s Courage
Herbane’s Fortress and Courage are a shield and sword that belong to a cut NPC named - you guessed it: Herbane! While nobody is quite sure of what role Herbane was going to assume in Skyrim, it is safe to say that he was going to be quite an important character! This is thanks to the powerful items he would’ve come equipped with.
Herbane’s shield, Fortress, possesses an enchantment with aphenomenal50% frost damage reduction! Almost poetically, his sword was the exact opposite, dealing 25 points of fire damage to any enemies in its way. It’s just a shame we won’t ever be able to rock thisawesome setup- at least not in vanilla Skyrim.
2Frost Giant’s Club
Just like its less beefy and less cold cousin, the Frost Giant’s Club is onlyreserved for the largestof enemies. Apparently, as powerful as the Dragonborn is, he/she still isn’t quite capable of wielding large pieces of wood!
The Frost Giant’s Club is a fair bit more powerful than the base Giant’s Club, which makes it one of the most destructive melee weapons in all of Skyrim. Unfortunately for us, there is no secret version of this weapon that players can utilize, meaning that we are left in the dark when it comes to its actual in-game capabilities. Maybe in the near future, some inevitable re-release of Skyrim will finally let us equip this monster!
1Transmogrify
Though a bit childish, Transmogrify has to be the most saddening unobtainable item in Skyrim. This low-levelspellturns any living creature into a chicken! Though, perhaps the term “living” isn’t quite fitting here, because it can even reanimate corpses!
The spell lasts for around 30 seconds, and although blatantly hilarious, the spell is not all that powerful. This is mainly due to the fact that upon attacking the transmogrified enemy, theyimmediately regress backinto their former self with full health. Use console commands to obtain this spell and a good laugh along the way!
