Garrison Brown, the fourth of six children shared by Kody Brown and Janelle Brown, was discovered deceased by his younger brother Gabriel Brown. Ahead ofSister WivesSeason 19 premiere,Brown reflected on the heartbreakof losing a child, expressing regret over missed opportunities to strengthen their bond. Speaking toPeople, he shared,
We could have been talking more. I’d get texts, stuff like that, and we could have, retrospectively, we could have done so much more — And it was almost like — I’m busy with my life, he’s busy with his life, and when we connect, we’ll connect.
“It was kind of like, we’ve got forever. It was more like it was a convenience of time that I felt like I had,”he further said, expressing a deep sense of regret for not making more of an effort to stay in touch regularly.
He described the loss of his young son as “irrevocably,” saying that he can’t“get back to where I was. I can’t reconcile that he’s not here.”He added that his greatest regret was not cherishing the time they had together.
