As spotted byInsider Gaming, the officialKojima Productionswebpage now includes a newsub-domainthat leads into a new image from the studio’s upcoming project, revealing Shioli Kutsuna as the next actress that will star in the project.

Similar to the image that was shared previously by Geoff Keighley revealing the involvement ofElle Fanningin Kojima’s next title, this new image showcases Shioli Kutsuna in an image of the same format, featuring the question “Where Am I?”

Shioli Kutsuna is a Japanese-Australian actress who has already starred in a number of well-known movies, including Deadpool 2. She was also the voice actress behind Luna in Kingslave: Final Fantasy XV animated movie.

It’s been a while since Hideo Kojima started teasing his next project via Twitter using official images and vague tweets. Back in June 2022, Kojima announced that he would be partnering with Xbox Game Studios to deliver a brand-new experience for gamers, but it remains unknown if the recent teases about Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna are related to this Xbox project.

Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson believes that the recent teases belong to Death Stranding 2 rather than the Xbox project, which is known asOverdose. That being said, it’s all speculation, and all we can do is guess until an official announcement appears.

It is likely that we will get to see the first trailer or teaser about this new project from Kojima Productions in this year’s The Game Awards ceremony, as Geoff Keighley has reacted to this project multiple times on Twitter.

The rumors around Death Stranding 2 started when the lead actor of Death Stranding, Norman Reedus, hinted at the existence of a sequel for the project in an interview. Also, after announcing the cloud-based project with Xbox, Kojima Productions officially stated that it doesn’t mean an end for the studio’s partnership with PlayStation.

Death Stranding was a successful launch for Sony and Kojima Productions, and despite the fact that Sony does not own the IP, it is possible that it will receive a sequel on PS5 sometime in the future.
