The series released its first season in 2017, coming to a climactic and emotional conclusion in 2023. Since its end, the actress has moved on to other projects, diving headfirst into the DC Universe after being cast as Lois Lane alongsideDavid Corenswet‘s Superman.
Despite working on bigger projects, it seems that Brosnahan’s connections and relationships on the Prime Video series are not done with her just yet. The creators ofThe Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, are working on a new ballet-centered drama calledÉtoile.

The cast of the series is already said to feature some actors from their past work, including Luke Kirby and Gideon Glick. It would seem that the Palladinos are also set on Brosnahan making an appearance in this.

Amy Sherman-Palladino spoke toThe Hollywood Reporterabout her upcoming project,Étoile.Here, she also spoke on whether Rachel Brosnahan would be a part of the project, now that she is busy working onSuperman: Legacy,one of the biggest DC films in recent times. The writer stated that if the actress thinks that she has any chance of outrunning being a part of the series, she is very much mistaken.
“If Rachel thinks Lois Lane is going to get her away from me, she’s incredibly naïve,”Sherman-Palladino said.“I’ll grab her ass and drag her back.”
