Taylor Swift’srumor to play Dazzler— a mutant in Marvel Comics who can sing— has resurfaced following her most recent studio album,The Tortured Poets Department. Swift ended her album with the word,“Dazzling”making theDeadpool 3and Swiftdrama more intensethan her previous appearance with theDeadpool 3cast and the director (viaScreenRant).
Previously, the director of the movie,Shawn Levyresponded to the highly intense rumors among fans that propelled the reporters to ask him questions about Swift’s potential role in the movie. In a short chat withEntertainment Tonight, the director declined to comment on it.
“I can’t even believe that you would dare ask me a question that you know I can’t answer. All of America knows I can’t answer that. But I will say, as I said earlier here at CinemaCon, the proliferation of rumors about who is and isn’t in this movie, it’s fabulous, because no one will ever know the truth until July 26.”
Of course, Marvel Studios has been good at keeping their secret until the release of their movies. Despite heavy rumors, the superhero brand had kept it quiet about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man return in Tom Holland’sSpider-Man: No Way Home. So, as the director said, July 26, the release date for the movie, would be the mystery buster.

Apart from Jackman’s obvious return, Aaron Stanford’s Pyro, X-Men villains Sabretooth and Toad, and Asgardian God, Thor have already been confirmed to appear in the movie.
