In a recent interview withGQ, the actor was asked about his role as Terrence Howard inRebel Ridge.While talking about that character, Pierre delved into the physical routine that he had to do for the role.
In the interview,Aaron Pierrerevealed his various achievements including his love for jiu-Jitsu, martial arts, physical exercises, and more. The actor also revealed that they increased the intensity of his workouts to get the best result possible.

Day to day, I train at the gym, and I’m a student of martial arts, specifically boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. So I’m training. For Rebel Ridge, everything that I do on a daily basis rocketed up. We increased the intensity of all those respective physical engagement activities by a considerable amount.
He continued,

We were based in New Orleans and Jeremy Saulnier had set up a warehouse. And there we would do pedal bike training, boxing, wrestling, [and] sparring. We would do all of the things to help create, as a team, this character.
Well, it certainly is quite an achievement and it wasn’t in vainsinceRebel Ridgereceived some impressive results upon its release. The ability to do intensive workouts is also one of the reasons why Aaron Pierre might just work in the upcoming DCU projectLanterns.
