As a tie-in to the cult classic 2010 film by Edgar Wright,Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Gameis finally getting the chance at a second life with a re-release after celebrating its tenth anniversary last year. The upcomingComplete Editionwill bring the title back to modern platforms, and for those concerned about the title getting delisted again, Limited Run Games is preparing several physical releases for its impending re-release.Limited Run Games has announcedthat it will publishing physical releases forÂScott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game - Complete Editionin collaboration with Ubisoft and Universal. As noted by Limited Run on Twitter, the company will produce three physical releases for the game on PS4 and Nintendo Switch at first, with pre-orders to begin on August 09, 2025 at 10am ET.
Limited Run Games detailed on Twitter that they’ll be producing a standard edition of the game for $34.99, which will include a physical version of the game on either PS4 or Nintendo Switch with exclusive art from series creator Bryan Lee O’Malley. Two premium editions of the physical release will also be available for pre-order, the first being the “Classic Edition” ($54.99) that comes with a deluxe SEGA Genesis style case, the game’s original soundtrack, and other collectibles. The second is the “KO Edition” ($139.99), which includes additional collectibles such as a guide book, stickers, an enamel pin, and a special collector’s box modeled after a “roadie case.”
Alongside the announcement, Limited Run Games noted that pre-orders for the physical releases ofÂScott Pilgrimwill be available for a six-week open window starting on January 15. While pre-orders at the moment are limited to PS4 and Nintendo Switch, Limited Run noted that will be producing physical versions for Xbox One at a later date.
