There will be a presidential election this year, so it is fitting that Volition, Fishlabs and Deep Silver would bringSaints Row IV, which makes players the president of the United States, to Nintendo Switch. That being said, the port is launching sooner than you might think. Even though it was only revealed today,Saints Row IV: Re-Electedwill release for Nintendo Switch on March 27.

Because this is theRe-Electedversion ofSaints Row IVthat came to PS4 and Xbox One in 2015, the Nintendo Switch version of the game will come with 25 pieces of DLC including the story expansionsThe Saints Save ChristmasandEnter the Dominatrix. Gat Out of Hellwas not mentioned in today’s announcement.Saints Row IV: Re-Electedfor Nintendo Switch will also get a physical release, though it is exclusive to GameStop. Those who pre-order will also get a set of pins.

Otherwise, this port should be the same wacky open-world game where you gain superpowers and become president that we know and love. I really like this game, and I’m glad that it will find new life on Nintendo Switch likeSaints Row: The Third, though I do hope it runs a bit better. ThisSaints Row IV: Re-Electedport for Nintendo Switch is being handled by Fishlabs once again, and they don’t have the best track record on Switch withManticore: Galaxy on FireandSaints Row: The Thirdas they both had technical issues. Hopefully, they’ve been able to optimize their engine over the past year and get things running in a smoother fashion.

If this port is good, it can tide players over untilSaints Row Vreleases sometime over the next couple of years. While you can already playSaints Row IV onPC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it will finally be coming to a Nintendo console on March 27.
