Boyega’s exit reportedly caused a significant budget cut for the film as his attachment made it a mid-level blockbuster. However, the film came back on track in April 2022 with Aaron Pierre replacing the actor. The film was reportedly already delayed once due to the COVID-19 pandemic (viaDeadline).
