Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apartwas released for the PlayStation 5 on June 11th, 2021.
The game is a perfect culmination of old and new, with there being something for original fans, and something for those picking up aRatchet & Clankgame for the very first time.
Although the title will likely go down as a PlayStation classic, it’s not perfect. So to rectify some of the lingering issues with the game, Insomniac Games have been releasing frequent updates to keep everything running smoothly.
June 17th Update
On June 17th, a new update was deployed forRatchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Numerous issues were fixed in the latest update, from Rivet spawning without a hammer, to some players being stuck during the Phantom chase.
There was also a change that will be important to those with 120Hz capable monitors. Before the most recent update, enabling 120Hz output was causing players to experience input latency of 8ms. Insomniac Games have now disabled automatic 120Hz display output whilst in Performance mode until a more permanent fix can be deployed.
