Weapons inRainbow Six Siegeare quite important, but usually, it’s an operator’s main gadget or skill that convinces you to choose one over another. That being said, with all the balancing changes done to the operators over the years, some operators have now lost their popularity due to their untameable recoil patterns.

On the other hand, some other operators who were once considered weak, are now rising in pick rate thanks to comfortable weapons. After all, you are about to win gunfights in a match of Siege, and that requires a weapon to get you kills while causing the least trouble for the player. Well, that thinking leads us to the list below.
Since Gridlock herself is an underestimated operator in Rainbow Six Siege, there is no doubt that her assault rifle will have the same destiny as well. Despite having horizontal recoil, F90 is quite controllable when compared to weapons like AK-12 or R4C.

With acceptable damage and fire rates, F90 is good enough for staying any long in battle, especially with its 1.5x and 2.0x sights that make long-range gunfights much easier.
This is the only assault rifle that both Ace and Fuze have access to, but even veteran Siege players know that despite the weapon’s high fire and DPS rate, it’s quite difficult to control the crosshair during a gunfight.

This untameable assault rifle features harsh vertical and horizontal recoil patterns, which makes it really hard to guide the crosshair to the point you want rather than the point it desires to go to. That being said, if you learn to hunt heads with burst fire, AK-12 is a pretty solid killing machine.
When talking about recoil control, PDW 9 is the best option among all Attacker weapons. Of course, this weapon has a pretty low damage rate which almost puts it next to defender weapons, but you shouldn’t forget about PDW 9’s massive magazine.

Despite its low damage rate, PDW 9 has an acceptable fire rate that makes it perfect for hunting heads and winning peek-fire moments in the game. Not to mention that minimal vertical recoil makes it quite easy for the player to hold down the trigger long enough.
ARX200 is the deadliest Attacker assault rifle when it comes to the damage rate, but there are a number of reasons why it is far from being the best weapon in Rainbow Six Siege. Although the fire rate of 700 is still acceptable, the gun’s hard-to-control horizontal recoil makes it a weapon for veterans.

Unlike other weapons, the horizontal recoil in ARX200 begins quite early, which makes it quite difficult to control the crosshair even if you don’t stay long enough in a gunfight. Also, the lack of a 1.5x sight makes it even harder to engage in long-range gunfights.
Forget about its low fire rate, Lion’s V308 is one of the few Attacker assault rifles in Rainbow Six Siege that only has vertical recoil. This already makes this weapon quite easy to control, especially for an attacker like Lion that is constantly in the movement to hunt his prey.

The weapon’s low recoil and high magazine capacity make it more like a light machine gun in that you’re able to hold the trigger down longer than normal and still don’t lose control over it or run out of bullets.

G36C above R4C? Of course. There is no doubt that R4C has better stats compared to G36C, but is that enough to rule the winner? It’s not unless you turn a blind eye to recoil control. Since the massive R4C recoil nerfs, this weapon has never been on top. Even the recoil overhaul couldn’t fix the R4C properly.
On the other hand, G36C is easily one of the most comfortable Attacker weapons in Siege, and it’s still deadly enough to help you get rid of your opponents one after another. And you don’t have to worry about crazy recoil after exceeding the burst-fire limit.
Zero is quite an underestimated operator in Rainbow Six Siege, yet he owns one of the best guns when it comes to the DPS rate. Although SC3000K is one of the hardly-controllable weapons in the game due to its harsh horizontal recoil, the result you get for learning the recoil pattern is invaluable.
Dealing damage up to 45 hitpoints at a fire rate of 800 is an exceptional statistic for any weapon in the game. Aside from that, SC3000K is equipped with a wide variety of sight options to allow you to use it the way you are most comfortable.
If you overcome its minimal horizontal recoil, AR33 is much more useful than what it looks like. The weapon is almost balanced in every aspect. From damage rate to fire rate, there is no way you can’t put it among the top-tier weapons of Rainbow Six Siege.
Probably the only shortcoming of AR33 is its few options in the sights, as the biggest scope you can get is 1.5x. That being said, the weapon is quite controllable even when aiming for long-range targets.
Jackal’s arsenal looks pretty solid, doesn’t it? C7E is Jackal’s first assault rifle, and it deals a significant amount of damage at a high fire rate with a significantly comfortable recoil. If only Jackal wasn’t doomed by the pre-match ban in Ranked games, we could’ve heard more about this weapon.
C7E features horizontal recoil as well, but it’s not as bad as weapons like Type-84 or ARX200. In fact, the horizontal recoil begins after a fairly vertical burst fire, which is mostly enough to get the kill for any veteran player.
Buck’s primary assault rifle, which is also strictly tied to his main ability on the battlefield is the most unique gun in Rainbow Six Siege. Not only the weapon itself deals a significant amount of damage, but also the fire rate is pretty high.
It’s not the most comfortable gun when it comes to recoil control, but veterans who have played as Buck long enough, know the value of C8-SFW. The secondary shotgun installed to Buck’s weapon makes it a perfect choice for fraggers to get rid of any soft surface that blocks their line of sight against opponents.
