At the PS5 Reveal event, Capcom announcedPragmata, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, in 2022. What we’ve seen is a cinematic trailer of a character in a special suit exploring what seems to be an abandoned space colony on the Moon. The game is set in a dystopian far-future. Check out the trailer and screenshots below.
Pragmatais a brand new IP from Capcom and it definitely looks really nice. Now this is only a cinematic trailer, and we have no idea what kind of game it’ll actually be. A good guess would be some kind of space-themed action + exploration mix. While the game is coming in 2022, we’ll be hearingmore soon in 2021.

Personally speaking, I’m happy to see a new IP from Capcom and see the Japanese company take some risks seeing allits financial successesthese past few years.Resident Evil 2 Remake,Devil May Cry 5,and especially mastodonMonster Hunter World (Iceborne)have been printing money. So seeing a new IP is definitely fresh and exciting. In counterpartResident Evil 8was also revealed as well. And if I had to say which one of the two piqued my interest the most, I’d answerPragmatain a heartbeat.
We’ll be sure to tell you more onPragmatawhen we do learn more. We have yet to hear who is directing the game and its core staff, and what kind of game it actually is. Seeing Capcom is the developer, we should get more Japanese info coming soon. Especially in the form of interviews in Japanese outlets such as Famitsu. Meaning you can count on me for translating everything. Stay tuned on DualShockers.
