The Pokemon Companyhas announced more life-sized plushes, withtwo snake ‘Monsbeing recreated for the Year of the Snake.
There have been countless Pokemon plushes released over the years, but most of them are smaller than how they are depicted in the games. There are exceptions for the smaller Pokemon, like Joltik, which are tiny, but larger ‘Mons have to be shrunk to fit on store shelves.

Not content to fill Pokemon fans homes withlife-sized Gardevoir, The Pokemon Company is selling even more massive ‘Mons. According to PokeJungle on Twitter/X, The Pokemon Company will release huge plushes of Ekans and Serperior.

Ekans & Serperior Are Receiving Lifelike Pokemon Dolls
In terms of size, the Ekans plush is 2.0m, while the Serperior is a fair bit bigger, sitting at 3.3m. Both have poseable heads, allowing them to be shifted into new positions. While bigger than similar dolls, they’d still look good in most nerd homes around the globe.
The catch for these plushes is that they’re currently only announced for China. There’s still a good chance they’ll launch worldwide, consideringhow much merchThe Pokemon Company puts out each year.

The price and release date for the two snakes are currently unknown, though considering the usual cost of thebigger Pokemon plushes, they certainly won’t be cheap.

There are plenty of snakes for The Pokemon Company to have chosen for this promotion, but Ekans definitely deserved a spot, considering its importance as one of the original 151 from the Kanto region.
Serperior is a little more questionable, though it at least looks cool. Perhaps this is just bitterness talking, as the brokenCelebi ex and Serperiorcombo fromPokemon TCG Pocketis still fresh in the minds of fans, and they might not want a symbol of their defeat hanging around their homes.
